Founder & Executive Chef. Suresh envisioned The Arvin as a place where food and culture share equal billing — a dining room that honours India's artistic heritage.

On the last Friday of each month, the clatter of the kitchen softens, the lights dim to amber, and Carnatic ragas drift through the dining room like incense.

The idea began simply: guests who lingered after dinner often asked if we could host live music. We started with a single veena player and twenty covers. Within a year, Carnatic Evenings became one of our most sought-after reservations.

An Evening Unfolds

Service begins at 7 PM with a curated South Indian tasting menu — filter coffee served in davara-tumbler sets, miniature dosas, and a dessert of payasam. As the final savoury course clears, the musicians take their place in the alcove overlooking Roy Bahadur Road.

Food and music share the same grammar — rhythm, pause, crescendo. A raga and a well-made sambar both understand when to hold back.
